Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question about my mbp's bluetooth. I have a samsung phone and I want to transfer ringtones onto it through bluetooth or at least get the pictures off of it that i have taken with the cell phone. How come I can connect but when I get to the picture folder its empty...it seems as though everything is hidden?

this is the phone I have:
http://www.samsung.com/Products/MobilePhones/ATTCingular/SGH_D407ZKACIN.asp

basically i want to be able to get the pics off of it or to get ringtones onto it that i make on my computer

I had that phone and couldn't get the Bluetooth to work properly...so I exchanged it for a Motorola that works perfectly & lets me transfer ringtones and pictures.

OS X comes with a built-in program called Bluetooth File Exchange...it's in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder

Ringtones

What folder in Buetooth file exchange do I want to put the ringtone in to use. And what file format / bit rate to use for the samsung?
