SO, here is my question and dilemma, is it possible for me to use my bluetooth phone as a headset for my mac? IE: being the speaker and microphone? I would love this to be possible, but if not, id even take it to be ok if it would just be the mic. i recently got a mac mini, which has no line in, (btw, this is a really annoying litle thing, why would they do this, it makes alot of things very difficult)
thanks so much, i would really appreciate any help that i could get

I've used a bluetooth headset occasionally and had no problems.

Once it's set up just go to sound preferences and select the headset for audio in and out. Simple as that really.

Edit: Reread~ Unless you mean a bluetooth mobile phone in which case I dunno, but I'll try it out and get back to you.

yea, ive used headsets before, and its not a problem, what I am loking to do is use my mobile phone as a headset.

I doubt it... I think your phone would need to have a handsfree or headset profile. I think if it did, then it would be in your Audio Input system prefs as an option.
