Hi,

Apologies if this is an old or obvious question, but I have a problem I can't seem to Google my way around.

If I use Target Mode or Boot Camp on my iMac, I need to hold down a key during startup to activate them. But my wireless keyboard doesn't get recognised by the iMac till late on in the startup process, so it doesn't realise I'm holding down the key until way too late, and just boots up normally. Is there a way around this, or do I need a USB keyboard?

Thanks

Re: Using Boot Camp or Target Mode with Wireless Keyboard

If you go into system preferences> under "System" hit "Startup Disk" select the disk that has windows (or what ever OS) and hit "Restart..." then you wont have to hold any key.

And for going back into Mac OS X from Windows-
In the system tray there should be a grey triangle just click that and hit "Restart in OS X" and your good to go!

hope this helps.
