Using BT Mobile Sim in iPhone 3GS

I have a blackberry using the BT Mobile netwoork. They use Vodafone as their network.

I went in and changes the Celluar Data Settings to:

APN:Btmobile.bt.com
User Name:bt
Password: bt

All internet/data worked.

I turned the iPhone off and on again and the settings were overwritten and were set to wap.vodafone.co.uk

Is there a way to stop it doing that?
