Using cell phone camera with camera connection kit

Has anyone got this to work? Everytime i try to hook up my droid to my iPad so I can unload some pics, the ipad just gives me a "the accessory is requiring too much power" error and stops. It would really suck if, after waiting so long to get this, I end up having to return/resell this.

My iPhone has no problem with the Camera Connection Kit.

Sorry, but I don't have any other cell phones try it out with.

Have you looked to see if anyone has posted compatible camera phones on the thread that lists compatible devices with the camera kit?
