Using Crossover with Outlook 2003 "Setup Issue"

As a newby MAC user, I am trying to do a transition for my wife from a PC to a MAC and I installed Crossover so that she could run Outlook within the MAC environment. I cannot get her email to work which is a POP3 account. Would anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?
