anybody having the same issue ? when part of the folder name contains emoji characters, the charcater looses its color when the folder is in closed position, it simply shows all emoji in black

Works fine for me.

I'm sure this was issue in a past beta. Are you on beta 6?
 
On iOS6, I use emojis in Folder titles and bookmark names in safari. They are fine as the folder titles, but in Safari as a bookmark in the bookmark bar, they are dark, with slight hints of colour at the edges (smells of glitch)
 
Yes I am on iOS 7 beta6, let me try reset the keyboard.
 
If your background is making your icon labels to be black. This may cause your your emojis to turn black as well so they can be seen.
