Using Entourage with 2 users

My laptop is out of order for the time being...so I am sharing my husbands computer. So we have 2 usernames/users. If I download (send/receive) email on entourage while I am in *his* user, then logout and go back to *my* user I am not able to view those new emails. Any suggestions? It is inconvenient since I am now missing some emails from *my* entourage.
