Using FaceTime for International Calls?

Since it doesn't use our minutes and it's via WiFi, can we technically use FaceTime to call someone abroad for free?

No, you don't. Go to the contact of the person you want to FaceTime and hit the FaceTime button. Works like a charm.

Yes, several times. It is all on wifi. No phone connection required.

I just tried it earlier this afternoon, and the direct FaceTime button in the contacts worked like a charm. Really thrilled with this actually! US->UK, if anyone's interested.
