I'm going to go away for a week and I was wondering if there might be some way I can keep my Macbook Pro pointed towards my front door and somehow use FaceTime so I can log in on my iPhone or iPad to see the inside of my house?

Thanks.

Why do you feel like you need to do this? I think if you live in a place where you fear your home is not protected then you could invest in an actual surveillance system. They have them and iPhone apps to go with them, I think.
Be careful - New Jersey just sent a guy to jail for doing this.

What? Source?
