My neighborhood has several outdoor cats. They are friendly and walk anywhere from 1-10 houses away from their home. We were discussing with our neighbor if Air Tags could work to track them since this is a neighborhood with homes everywhere. Most people have iPhones so there's plenty of the network around.

Anyone have experience using an Air Tag on a cat in a dense neighborhood? Thank you for the feedback.

That is why our recent order of chop suey had an airtag.

i guess attach that on a collar and find out.
but 10 x $29……..

We had our daughters cat for the past 4 months in addition to our two, we do actually limit their outside to just our backyard, there are plenty dogs and occasionally coyotes seen ...
My daughters cat is a jumper, and used to wearing a collar when outside, so we did put an airbag on him, helps us finding him at times both outside and in, luckily he never got over the fence (he did try a few times) ... I do not have experience other than tracking with my iPhone, the range was ~ 30ft max, but for our purpose the airbag worked fine.
