All,

I now have two macs, a G4 Powerbook (10.3.3) and a G3 IMac (10.2.8). Can I technically use my 10.3.3 Restore discs to install Panther on the iMac? I only use 1 machine at a time and don't want to shell out for another copy of Panther.

I've done it and it works (used a Mac OS 9 disc from a PowerBook on a PowerMac G4), BUT I must warn you that this practice is shady at best and illegal at worst. Whatever you do, DON'T TELL APPLE!
