My brother just got an iPhone 4 and bought a generic USB car charger for $10 on amazon. I have heard that these low cost chargers don't regulate the electricity correctly to certain devices (ie: iPhone4) and can lead to a premature breakdown of the battery. The back of the charger is stamped with input: 12v, output: 5v. Is this ok to use with his new iPhone?
