So I have gmail set up on my iphone and on on my mac. I used to use .mac mail and it was nice (and expensive). When using .mac mail if i deleted mail on my iphone it would delete it from mail on my mac, and vice versa. Is there a way to make it do this with gmail too? It's not a big deal but I hate having to delete everything off of my mac at the end of the day that I already read and deleted off of my iPhone.

If someone could tell me if this is possible or not and if so how I would very much appreciate it. Thanks guys/gals.

When I go into the settings it says both are enabled.

Ok, maybe i have it now. I started digging deeper after you asked if i was using imap and i see that my mail on my mac was set up for pop and on my phone it was set up for imap so i switched it so now they are both imap. Hopefully that will work. Thanks for the help.
