Last year I bought the base Mac mini to use as a Plex server and it’s been fantastic, I was amazed how fast it handled encoding video in h265 utilizing the T2 chip. I mostly encode from DVD’s and some blue rays. The mini gets a little warm and the fan kicks in but nothing major, looking forward to trying this in the base Air I just ordered, anyone else use handbrake on the base Air ?
