Using Headset with microphone

Hi,
I want to use a headset with microphone, but I can't get the mic working.
How do I get the mic from the headset work and dissable the built in mic from my new iMac with windows XP.

You'll need to go into the Control Panel on Windows.

Here are the steps.

Start Menu > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. It should show up there. If it doesn't, make sure you have proper drivers enabled and installed.
