using homesharing to iPad ratings dont show up or transfer over?

so ive tried out the home share feature to stream my music library to my ipad but one problem im having not sure if thats just how it is.

my ratings from my songs on itunes dont show on my ipad when streamed. also say if i rate a song on my ipad it doesnt transfer and rate within the itunes app is this some type of bug?

I just tried it out.

Rated on my laptop, rated on iPad, turned home sharing on and off... doesn't seem to sync that.

Ditto, I use Home Sharing across Macs, iPhone, Touch and iPad, just content, not ratings, etc.

Well I suppose different people may use the homesharing feature at home. Wouldn't be fair to force everyone to have someone else's ratings, would it? Could you make a smart playlist based on ratings?

Hm.. maybe. But it could at least be an option in iTunes like the "Home Sharing computers and devices update play counts" option.
