I've been trying to get my Optura 20 to work as a webcam with iChat and have been unsuccessful. I have the camera on and hooked up via FireWire. iMovie recognizes the camera, and I'm able to import video there. If I go to the "video" panel in iChat, preferences, however, it says that "There is no camera attached to this computer". However, in that panel, it gives me a pull-down menu to select audio source, so it seems to be recognizing the camera as a microphone. On the iChat menu bar, itt still says "Audio" instead of "Video", and the "Camera enabled" option is grayed-out.

I'd be ever-so-pleased if anyone could figure out what in the world is happening :D

FYI, I'm using iChat AV 2.1
