Hi

So this is kinda embarrasing, but as i have orderd my imac27. I have decided to buy two new monitors. Two benq 27" which have maximum resolution of 1920x1080. And use this 3 monitors connected to two radeon 5970.

Question is, and i have never used a a mac, what does imac look like when using a 1920x1080 resolutio. If it looks like **** then this is no point.

For example if i play Shift using 3 monitors and the benq's native is 1920x1080. Doesnt that also force the imac to display 1920x1080.

Im very novice on this area, so any help would appreciate.

I guess while surfing i could use ati infinity and let the benqs run 1920x1080, and let imac run its native. But what happens when i load up shift, wow or any other game.

And lastly this is important, i have never used mac, but when i play wow on a imac, do i have to use the native res, or can i select 1920x1080 etc

The 27" iMac's native resolution is 2560 x 1400, so it would look a little bit blurry in 192ß x 1080, but depending on the game it might look okay.

I have a 17" MBP with 1920 x 1200 pixel, and when I play CoD with 1650 x 1080 it looks okay, but using the OS with that resolution would be painful.
