Using iMac as a TV screen (including the new 5K retina one)

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to use an iMac (including the new 5K retina one) as TV screen? Preferably I would like to connect my Virgin media box to it in order to watch it on there. Is it possible? Or is it at all possible to have any type of TV on an iMac?

Note: I am from the UK.
