Mods, I'm not sure where is the best place to post this, so if this is the wrong place for this thread, please move it.
I have a 2017 Macbook 12" that I use with the internal & and external display via HDMI. I also have my work Windows laptop set up the same way to HDMI 2 & just switch back & forth.
When I'm using my windows laptop & I drag any window (Excel, Word, Outlook, Edge, etc) half way between monitors (so that 1/2 is showing on the laptop display & half is showing on the external), it shows half of the window on each display.
When I try the same thing on my MacBook, it shows half of the window on the laptop display OR the External display, but the other half of the window just disappears. I don't see any obvious setting to change this behavior in Settings, so I'm not sure if this is just the way it is, or if there is a way to modify this so that it acts like my windows laptop.
Thanks in advance,
