Hi,

I have got a friend who accidently passed over is iphone with his truck (serious) :D

Now as you may guess, is iphone is broken. He asked me if it is possible to take his pictures back. I opened up his already opened iphone :) and found a kinda SD card from telus with a chip in it. I'm pretty sure it's where the data is stored.
1- My first question is to know if i am right. is this the HDD of a iphone 4?
2- If yes, how to access the data? Indeed I see the usual form of a SD card but it's smaller (it is fitting in a case that has the usual form of the SD card) and there is a square chip in it instead of the usual connecting form of a SD card.

I thank you in advance for your help!
Nice day

That's the SIM card. It stores almost no data besides cellular information. It's total size is about 64 kilobytes. The phone's data is stored on a chip on the logicboard and is not removable.
