Using iOS 9 beta 3, and have 2 questions about some issues that I couldn't find answers to despite searching.

  1. When you spotlight search, do Apps installed on the device no longer show up? (e.g. search for Maps). I keep most of my apps in poorly organized folders (why no batch move yet Apple?), and in iOS8 I used to just pull down and type and click the result. Beta 1 battery life was pretty bad so I shut off a ton of stuff, but can't for the life of me find a setting to turn those results back on - the rest of search works, contacts & deep search in Notes and whatever, just not returning local Apps installed on the phone. App store links work too!

  2. Anybody else having any issues with alert tones not coming through? Same with the Siri beep - press and hold home, it vibrates but doesn't beep. Siri talks just fine so I don't believe its a speaker problem, and every volume setting I can find is turned up to max (ringtone volume, Siri volume, music volume). Its not in Do not Disturb and the silence switch is set to enable sounds. I rebooted a bunch of times - would rather not have to do a hard restore if I didn't have to.
Ah the joys of running beta software - just looking to see if there are solutions I didn't think of. Bugs are a fact of life.
