I have gmail and use POP and not exchange (so its fetch every 15 and not push), but before installing iOS5 GM it would seem to notify me of an email maybe only 1-2 minutes after its actually in my box, even though fetch is set at 15 minutes. Now it is taking nearly 15 minutes.....don't know if anyone else is having issues....

using iOS5, anyone else's email not come through as fast?

I don't know about the fetch settings and that being slow like that. But I do use the manual fetch when I open my email and I have noticed it takes considerably longer to search for and load email when it comes in. I have my email configured for both Yahoo and Gmail accounts.
I use push, so it's definitely different, but I have loaded iOS 5 onto my phone a few different times (beta and GM) and each time I tend to have some kind of issue with mail settings.
This last time, I deleted my Gmail account and re-added it because the push email wasn't registering right away. As soon as I did that it went back to being really snappy.
