using ipad 2 camera on mac

i have one of those older 30" apple cinema displays with no isight. i was wondering if there was any way to enable the camera on my ipad 2 or iphone 4 to work with my mac.

is it even possible using the 30 pin to usb? what about a bluetooth solution?

also does anybody know how i can sync my ichat and facetime accounts.
