Hello all,

I'm going away for a week over Christmas and thought is might be nice to set up a webcam to watch my aquarium. I believe it is possbile to use an iPad for this.

Does any one have any experience / tips on how to use an iPad for this and use a MBA to view the footage in real time.

Many thanks

Hey, I realize this is a bit late but possibly other folks may be looking for a way to keep an eye on their aquariums. ;)

I just released a new app called Perch Live which lets you record and watch live or archived footage of your fish. It is universal, so it will work on your iPad.

Key point here is that the video is public for anyone to see, so you'll want to make sure the iPad is clearly trained on your fish tank.

You can download the app here. A full explanation of the app and how to view the live or historical video is in this announce thread.
