I know that AT&T does not allow data tethering from their iPhone to other wireless devices. Question is whether anyone has tried using their activated iPad MicroSIM card on their iPhone3GS (I know that you have to use the MicroSIM adapter on the iPhone)? The reason is that I am going to be travelling in the US shortly and was wondering if I get data service on both my devices if I subscribe to only the data service plan of the iPad. Any help would be appreciated! :)

You cannot a shared data service using the method you described.

Just wanted to know if you have tried it?
What about activating a SIM and pay-as-you-go plan for my iPhone3GS and cutting it down to use in the iPad?
