My Mac Pro came without an airport card, but has bluetooth.
I have a wifi iPad and an iPhone.
I want to tether the WiFi (not data network) on either via bluetooth PAN.
All devices can talk to each other but every time I hit "connect" in the PAN icon, it connects for a second and then drops. This happens when connecting to both the iPad and iPhone.
So I'm wondering, is it even possible to connect to the internet using this method? Or has apple blocked that so that people can only tether via data network? I don't see why they would block it on a WiFi only iPad as the data network option isn't even possible.
