Hi

I recently had my iPhone 4 stolen on a night out, which is never good.

I remote wiped it on the Saturday night, but on got the confirmation email on the Tuesday. I done this due to me not being able to find the phone using find my iPhone. I think whoever had it must have switched it off, and then turned it on a couple of days later.

Anyway, to my point...
Luckily I am insured. Due to my insurer being out of stock, I'm getting the cash value, £610. I'm delighted with that to be honest, as I'll now wait a couple of months until the new iPhone is out, as I'm sure that will be more than enough to cover it's cost. My question is, do you think I will be able to use my last back up when I get my new iPhone, so all my apps are how I had them etc? Do you think it will be a problem it going from iOS 4 to iOS 5?

I know the answer might not be out there, but what are people's thoughts?

Cheers

Yes you will be able to. At least that's the way it's worked for every other new iPhone.
