Carrier Using iPhone 6 on T-Mobile Wi-Fi CellSpot Router

My local T-Mobile store is now closed, so I thought I'd post here. T-Mobile is offering free rental of an 802.11ac router for existing customers. A $25 deposit is required, but refunded once the device is returned. I just have a few questions:

Has anyone used T-Mobile's Wi-Fi CellSpot Router with their iPhone 6?

How is the call clarity?

Can I just pick one up at my local T-Mobile store or do I have to call customer service to order one?
