I want to use my iPhone 6s to record video directly onto my rMBP in real time for recording YouTube videos because its camera and mic are far superior to the built-in ones on my Mac. I know QuickTime has something similar to this effect, but it just mirrors the iPhone's screen. I want to just be able to see what the iPhone's camera sees on my Mac's screen, and have the video file save directly to my hard drive.

Is there any way to do this?
