okay sorry, i'm just looking for a quick response and i'm sure this has been covered. could i buy an iphone and not have a plan but still use the edge network? i like the idea of having the internet everywhere i go, which is why the ipod touch isn't ideal. so i know about that google independence thing but will that do what i want. again, sorry for what i'm sure is a common question. thanks.
