I've got an (unjailbroken) iPhone 4 (My current phone), a (jailbroken) iPhone 3G, and a set of iPod speakers.

I want to plug the 3G into those speakers and use my iPhone 4 to control it as an iPod remotely (I'm thinking within my WiFi network, but from anywhere would be even cooler). So far, I installed a VNC server on my 3G and used a VNC client from the App Store on my iPhone 4 to kind of make it work, but it's a clunky fix that only works about twenty percent of the time.

Any ideas for a more elegant solution?
