Hey ya'll,
I am a music producer. I sit at my desk for long hours in front of my macbook pro plugged in to studio monitors listening to music. Sometimes I want to sit on the couch behind my desk and listen to my studio monitors, but I don't want to drag a cable for my studio monitors all the way back there. I had an idea to plug my iPhone into the studio monitors and wirelessly connect to it with my macbook (via bluetooth I guess?). That way I could still use my studio monitors without being wired into them.
I spent an hour or so today downloading old apps that allow to do this kind of stuff, but all the ones I could find (airphones, airfoil, etc) were outdated and didn't really work any more. Is there a way to do this? Or do you think apple or a third party developer will enable a way to do this soon? Or do I have to go to the electronics store and buy a bluetooth receiver to plug in to my studio monitors? (seems like a waste of money to me).
