I want to know if its possible on a aftermarket car stereo equipped with iPod/iPhone integration via usb and bluetooth to have the iPhone hooked up via USB and playing music and to have it connected to bluetooth and receive a call simultaneously.

Well I can't speak for an aftermarket stereo but on my 335 stereo I'm able to do exactly as you are asking. So in short it shouldn't be a limitation of the phone. Not sure about the car stereo in question however.

Ditto. Same for my X5. Works great on stock system.

works for ford sync. but y not take advantage of bluetooth audio streaming if available?

i have a pioneer head unit in my truck and since the ios4 came out i havent been able to get the bluetooth audio stream to work, thats on my 3g and new iphone 4. the cell portion still works. last time i tried to plug my 3g into the stero via cable it said "No Songs" even though there are over 400 songs on there. going to try the iphone 4 here shortly plug directly into the radio and see what happens.
