Hey i want to do a clean install of leopard on my mbp but i dont have a hard drive to back up all of my stuff.

I only have about 60gbs of data...

would it be ok if I used my new 80gb ipod classic as a hard drive?

Do you want a bootable image? or just your data? You can just drag your HOME folder to the ipod and you should be alright with all your files/apps. Just enable disk use on the ipod (when your connected to itunes).
