I plan to buy a 42'' plasma TV for my room today and use it only with my Ipod 5.5g Video, but I need to know what are the limitations of what my Ipod can play video quality wise, like can I play HD videos on my TV via iPod?

Thanks in Advance,
JC

No HD, Sorry. you can only output videos to tv that you can watch on the ipod itself, i.e up-to 640x480 H264 and mpeg4 although with the latter you can have resolutions wider than 640 so long ac the total no of pixels doesn't exceed 307200 (640*480). and it can only output over composite (the yellow plug on your TV next to a white and red one) or s-video.

And will that be worst/better/equal quality than a regular dvd playing or tv show?
