I use my Touch for web surfing at work. I don't have to log in, but I do have to hit the little "agree" button that all employees and/or customers have to agree to before utilizing the wifi.

I recently saw a note that said "[My Name]-Cookie-[6 digit number]" and it got me wondering...is it possible there's a unique cookie attached to my iPod when I use it at work? Can my work track my usage? Can they know it's me, specifically?

I don't look at anything particularly inappropriate at work (mostly a messageboard), and I'm not worried about being fired as most employees utilize the actual desktops/laptops provided by work...but I thought I might be circumventing getting tracked...and now I think it didn't work.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
