Hi gang-

I've recently discovered my iTunes folder has a lot of "(space)1.m4a" files in it. These don't show up in iTunes when I try to find duplicates. Can I delete them? Is there an expedient way to do this? Example attached.

Thanks!

You've got all of those albums twice. I don't know how and it doesn't matter. It's easy to fix. First, select any of the songs in iTunes, then right-click and choose "Show in Finder." You will discover which files iTunes is linked to. Then you can delete the others. For example, if right-clicking Little Miss Strange opens the Finder to "Little Miss Strange.m4a" you can delete all of the "-1" files. If iTunes opens to the "-1" files you can delete those without.

Deleting them in Finder is easy Command-select them and delete. Or sort the window by date added, which will probably group them for easy selection.
