However its not only with video when,,,, copying Serria installer from NAS to install in VMWare has stopped with a "corrupted installer".. I must of downloaded Sierra so many times from the App store making me believe this was an installer issue, when all the time is was a NAS issue.
Evidence of VMWare communities site suggested me to look into as to why its happening, and i believe iTunes and not modifying files on NAS are related. Although the workaround is to make changes before sticking them on NAS, i'm wondering is this issue specific to QNAP not fully supporting AFP protocol... (at least that's how Apple puts it)
If copy file to NAS first, then modify it in iTunes, any changes do not stick.. Any modifications must be done locally first.... This presents a problem, because it forces me to update/check to see if my files will still function ok comming "from" on a network drive.. I have QNAP,
