I only recently discovered that I could charge my iPhone, iPad and watch through my old MBA even if you close the lid once they're connected. It got me thinking about the charger options for the new M2, I went for the 67W fast charger which is great, but I wondered how fast the M2 would charge my iPhone when it is plugged into the M2.

I've seen tech reviews showing how slow the 35W dual charger is to charge both the M2 and iPhone so I was wondering if the 67w would fast charge the M2 AND an iPhone? I suppose I should do some testing but I'm too busy at the moment.

interesting question, dont have time to test the theory either but the slow charge of the dual usb c charger is also why I opted for the 67 watt brick. I use mine mostly on battery, so rather have the powerful brick to quickly top up the battery every couple days

The Thunderbolt ports will output up to 15W.

iPhone 13 Pro will draw over 20W charging, so you're not maxed out but close enough.
