Hi

I am using an iMac as a monitor for a MacAir and all is working well. However I have the MacAir in a Henge Dock which has a thunderbolt port which contents into the MacAir's thunderbolt port but of course this means the the MacAir lid is closed. Therefore my questions are...

1. Is it possible to switch the MacAir on and off in clamshell mode
2. Is it possible to wake the MacAir from sleep in clamshell mode

Any other suggestions gratefully received

I have an external keyboard/mouse connected

Many thanks

1. You can turn it off in the OS form the Shut down option under the little Apple in the menu bar. But there is no way to turn it back on without pressing the power button, which of course you cannot do in clamshell mode.

2. Sure... any attached KB or mouse can wake it right up. Even Bluetooth devices.
