I have a unibody mid 2010 MacBook which has two USB 2.0 ports and supports g and n standards for routers. I also use the previous generation of Airport Extreme which supports up to the "n" standard. All these equipment were connected to my Linksys router. I have recently replaced my earlier Linksys router with Model 6200 which supports the AC standard. Kindly let me know if I can use my Macbook over a wireless wifi connection to this Linksys AC router to take advantage of the higher wireless speed by using some sort of AC adapter connected to my Macbook. I understand there is one such adapter from Edimax but I am not sure if it work with my Macbook. I am using Mountain Lion as O/S for my Macbook.

Hi
I use the Edimax adapter on my MM 2010 with excellent results, I wrote a review on the OWC site with my results. They have updated their firmware for Maverick and Yosemite, I'm sure ML would be supported.
Cheers
