Hi guys,

I thought this question would fit multiple places, so i hope i selected the correct one.

In these corona days i am forced to work from home. My work computer is a pc, while i have a macbook pro (new 2019) as my personal computer. I thought that having a second screen would be smart for these long home office days.

So my question is, can i use my macbook pro as a monitor for my work pc computer? And what cable would i need in that case.

Thanks!

Laptop displays do not usually have display input. I would suggest Luna Display, but it doesn't run on windows yet.

Thanks for your reply!

Yes that was my fear as well - i was hoping that it was somehow built in, or that you could use a cable/connector of some sort. Luna Display seems like a valid option, unfortunately i just had bad experiences with wireless display sharing options. When i use my iPad with my macbook pro it didnt really go smooth and that was only for funtime use, i really need something solid if i want to use it for work related situations. Also, i would need a PC to MAC option :)

Please PM me if you have any great suggestions!
