Using Mail and another email account

I use Shaw mail, and it works fine with my Mail on my computer. I was just wondering though, I almost NEVER go on my SHAWMAIL via the internet browser. So i mainly use mail. but when i check the shaw mail on my browser, it shows all the emails that ive deleted. how can i get it so that it syncs perfectly to what i do on mail? that way i dont have to go back and sort and delete old stuff.

You appear to be trying to use your POP3 account like an IMAP account. Mail allows you to synchronize your IMAP messages between the server and client. For POP accounts, you may remove messages from the server or leave them on the server. AFAIK, there is no option to synchronize POP messages.
