using Mail

I'm interested in adding an account to Mail, but I don't want all mail from both accounts shoved into my inbox. I want to be able to switch from one account to teh other, keeping them separate. Is that possible?

If you have multiple accounts setup you should have a little triangle next to the you inbox. Click it and you should see the individual inboxes

Hmm just one more question... is there a way to make the mail dock icon display in which mailbox any new mail is? For example, a blue #1 for a new email for one account and a red #1 for the other account.

Don't think so, but you can make some simple rules to have different Mail sounds for different accounts. Turn off New mail sound under Mail -> Preferences -> General and make a few Rules:
