I seem to remember being able to use my LTE Series 3 Apple Watch to find out where my car was parked. We would go for a jog near the beach and I would leave my iPhone in the car and just wear the Watch. When we wanted to go back, I would open the Maps app on the Watch and it would show the location of the car.
I now have a Series 5 LTE AW and I don't see that anymore. Perhaps it is because my iPhone 11 is on Public Beta 2 and the Watch is on the last released version (6.2.8), but they are connected and the iPhone was connected via either USB/CarPlay or BlueTooth when I left the car.
Otherwise - assuming it is the Beta software on the iPhone - is there a way to mark my car's location on the Watch so I can find it later? If I tell Siri (again on the Watch) to mark my location, it brings up a little map with the address, but then I can't find that mark afterwards.
(I did post this in the forums for the Beta testing of iOS 14, but no one responded.)
Thanks

Can't really help with the beta/non-beta software combo, but your phone detects where it is when it disconnects from your car's BT or carplay, and marks the place as the site you parked your car at. It then "tells" your watch this location.

I don't think there is a way to mark the site in the watch directly, unless you have your watch connected to your car's BT directly, maybe.
