using MBP as desktop?

just curious to see how many people here actually use it as a desktop.

i am a college student so when I am at school I use it as a laptop.

When I am home i set it up to an HD monitor via hdmi. i use the apple wireless keyboard and the magic mouse as well as hooking it up to a stereo system.

I do. I have a custom built PC Core 2 quad@3Ghz, 6 Gb RAM, Nvidia 470, Win7 under the desk and I use almost exclusively my dual-core i5 MBP on a mStand aluminum stand as my desktop with a 24" 1920x1200 monitor.

Wonder why.
