Hi all,

I've been trying to connect to some windows machines with the microsoft client version 2.0.1.
Connection is fine but as soon as I press any key it disconnects.
As anyone experienced this?
Did you find a fix?

Best regards,
voidRunner

Hi bobesch,

It's windows 7 machines.
Following your idea I tried connexcting to a 2003 server and everything work.

Any ideas?

Ah, I also had big trouble connecting PPC / MS RDP-client with my MS Win2008-server, after I've installed extra client-lincences.
MS cut off the old PPC-version of it's RDP-client from proper handshaking and dealing with certificates on "new" Server2008.
Maybe something similar happend with Win7.
I think, I have a newer version of the PPC-RDP2x client than your's is.
Have to check it coming weekend and see, if I'm able to connect to Win7 (wait ... I've just updated my only Win7 to Win10pro recently, so I might send you a link )

Hi bobesch,

Thanx. If you have a more recent version for PPC let me know, the only
one I could find is 2.0.1.

Sorry! I've checked my RDC versions and that newer RDC-2.1.2, I've been talking about, was the intel-version.
I completely forgot about, that it was sent to my by my network software provider AFTER I had to replace the PPC-clients by intel-iMacs ...
Ah, that really nags me! I'm gonne check all PPC-machines to prove me wrong ...

Hi bobesh,

I did some more searching and found than the 1.0.3 version connects
without any problem but display speed is very slow :(

Let me know if you find anything.
