Hey everyone,
I'm using an M-Audio Axiom 61 MIDI controller with MainStage for a series upcoming gigs. The band and I have the first one on in a couple of nights, but I'm having massive problems with my keyboard.
The Axiom is connected to my MacBook Pro by USB cable. On the keyboard, the USB port has 4 skinny, little and rather flimsy pins. The top 2 curve down slightly, the bottom two curve up. Over the last couple of days these pins have begun to bend out of place, and are extremely fiddly to bend back - especially as I'm afraid to break them. At tonight's rehearsal it all worked fine until the last half hour, where I saw one of the pins had bent again, and the computer no longer detected the keyboard.
My question is: Can I use the MIDI Out port with an adapter like this one to connect it to MainStage? http://store.apple.com/au/product/T9400ZM/A
I appreciate any answers you guys have
